NICE

The old town is packed full of shops and lovely restaurants. It is said that one of life’s great pleasures is to stroll along the Promenade de Anglais. Most of the world’s great artists, at some point, lived on the Cote d’Azur, and it seems that around every corner there is a gallery or museum to explore.

Once you’ve done the old town in Nice, you can take a trip along the coast of Monte Carlo. Famously known as the place that is home to more millionaires per square mile than anywhere else on the planet. Or if you’d prefer, you can head over to Cannes or Juan les Pines. Nice is a great cultured destination for your anniversary.

BRUGES

Getting to Bruges is very easy. It’s just two hours by train from Ebbsfleet, then an hour from Brussels to Bruges. Bruges is a medieval masterpiece! It’s tight cobbled streets and hidden canals takes you back in time. On your last day, if you leave your hotel a little earlier and head back to Brussels, here you can squeeze in some extra sightseeing and perhaps dinner before taking an evening Eurostar home.

Florence is cobblestone streets, small café’s and yummy pizza places. Bristling with high-end restaurants and stylish shops, it’s so easy to lose yourself in the life of Florence. The Duomo is perhaps one of the most recognisable and iconic of Florence’s many landmarks. We suggest climbing to the very top for a breath-taking view of the city. How about a little excursion to Pisa by train to see the famous leaning tower.
Florence is Ideal for a weekend break; it’s just a short two hour flight from London.

MARRAKECH

Marrakech will bombard every one of your senses. Step out into the Medina and shop shop shop, haggle haggle haggle! One of the best ways to see the city is to take a private tour. Also, if you have time to spare on your trip, take yourself up to the high Atlas Mountains. It is a great trip if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech for a while.

VERONA & THE ITALIAN LAKES

Verona is Romeo and Juliet country and how about some opera? During the summer months you can take yourself up to the open air Roman arena. The seats are made of stone so make sure you hire a cushion (preferably two as you will be there for a while).
Combine a visit to Verona with two or three nights at one of the Italian lakes. Perhaps the most beautiful would be the town of Bellagio in Lake Como. It is said that you should visit Bellagio at least once in your lifetime.

NEW YORK

New York is hustle and bustle with tons to see and do! There are a few must do’s when you’re out in New York. One would be an early evening romantic walk across the Brooklyn Bridge for the perfect view of lower Manhattan. Just as darkness comes down, the light from the buildings and skyscrapers are a vision to behold.
Take a free ride on the Staten Island Ferry for a grand view of the New York harbour and the Statue of Liberty. New York is a shopper’s paradise; Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Saks and all the high end stores on Fifth Avenue. You can now take a coach out to the shopping outlets, which are about 40 minutes away. If you don’t feel like queuing for the Empire State Building, then you can go and see the Rockefeller Centre. The views are much better as you can see Central Park and the downtown view of Manhatten takes in the Empire State Building, the stunning Chrysler Building and the skycrapers of lower Manhatten.
